Argentina

Argentina is the 6th largest producer of grapes in the world and the largest grower of Malbec. Growing grapes since the mid 1600's, Argentina has only started to export wine since the mid 1990's, with the Malbec grape varietal exploding in popularity on the global market. Argentina has some of the highest altitude vineyards in the world and therefore many vineyards are naturally organic as pests are very limited at this high elevation.
